Don't forget about all the hidden expenses involved after delivery.
On fire apparatus you have a higher maintained cost, insurance increases, testing requirements,and personnel training on the newer type of pumps and communication equipment or new loose equipment.
A new truck is not Jesus, it cant do every thing for you.
If you lack some basic firegroung skills, this wont fix it for you.
Enjoy your new equipment but stay focused on the job at hand.
